(More customer reviews)This really does work as advertised. Whisper quiet. Wish there were many more items on the market that did not use any electricity. The price is a bit high, but we are trying to go independant out here and some day be off the grid, so this is a good start in the house.

You set it right on top of your woodstove. As the stove heats up it starts the fan, the hotter the stove, the faster the fan. The fan automatically slows as the stove cools. These fans work really well and there is no installation, hook up or wires & cords. You just take it out of the box, set it on the stove and as the stove heats up, away it goes!
