The metal this chiminea is made of is so brittle that it easily cracks and falls apart.
The first one I ordered arrived with a base the was completely broken in half. The second one I ordered as an exchange had both chimney column pieces shattered. I ended up just taking both orders and combining them to make one good chiminea.
To Amazon's credit... they made the exchange process super easy and convenient, so thank you Amazon. It would be in Amazon's best interest to stop carrying this manufacturer.
