(More customer reviews)This little guy was plugged in and went to work immediately, heating our 16x20 living room built on a concrete slab addition. It has a mechanism to prevent overheating, so we tend to leave it on all day and night in the coldest weather...which can be pretty cold here in central Michigan. The ONLY thing we don't like (and it's rather trivial) is that you can't have the heater on without the flame effect. Again, not a big issue, since the flames are pretty realistic looking, when compared to almost all other models. It comes with a remote, although we never use it. It's not too big and has a very nice rustic appearance that goes perfect with our "lodge themed" living room. It also doesn't weight a ton, so it can be moved to wherever it is needed, but is still solid little unit.
