Refractory Cement Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)We were able to build a small wooden form (16" x 20") to cast a broken fireplace tile with the (2) Refactory Cement. Since it was a smallish frame we lined the form with a 13 gal trash bag to keep the mix from coming in direct contact with dry wood. The mix worked up easily and we kept the product moist for the allotted 24 hrs. Approx. 48 hrs later, we unmolded the new tile and a used a fire safety adhesive to install.
The product worked great and only wish I'd considered adding a design into the cast.

Used for casting into custom shapes to replace worn-out firebrick. When dry material is mixed with water, it chemically sets and dries brick hard. Can be cast in irregular shapes or as a solid stone bed. 12.5-lbs. cast a block 12" x 12" x 11/4", or 120-lbs./cu.ft. Easy-to-followfoolproof direction on container.
