I'm sure that it would also accommodate a larger boiler. Mine is a PM Research horizontal boiler. It burns clean and hot and it is a great alternative to coal.

Dual Stage Combustion, How it Works:
WoodGas burning systems effectively burn the fuel twice. In thefirst stage, combustion air is driven into the fuel to create some smoke(or wood-gas). Right out of the box we plugged this little stove in and within a short amount of time the room was quite toasty! The remote control is great to just shut it down when it gets too warm! The flames look incredibly real. - No need for the heavy winter sweaters and blankets anymore to watch TV! Great little stove, easy to move from room to room, very realistic flames, extremely quiet with lots of warm air coming out! The unit itself does not get hot nor does the surrounding floor! Catskill Wood Stove Finish: Brown Enamel Review

(More customer reviews)I've been heating with wood almost continuously for 40 years... all kinds... antique cast iron, Vermont Castings, Jotul... Bought this sight unseen. The directions are not very good as far as operating it goes and while it says that a bottom heat shield is essential, it fails to supply the $1 scrap of tin, so I made my own. The enamel finish is quite good and it is easy to get a fire started.
The door handle latch is awkward... you need to push on the end of the shaft to compress a spring (using a stick if the stove is hot) and then rotate the handle. There is no ash pan, so you must shovel the ashes out, but that makes keeping the stove tight easier, and it burns the wood to a fine ash so there isn't much to remove.
One more thing... it says 14 inch wood and it means 14 inch wood. It is a good stove for a small or well insulated space.

(More customer reviews)The Dimplex Celeste Stove is well made and a much better value than the cheaper stoves that are available.
The "fire" in the stove is realistic - especially the glowing embers. To a casual glance it looks like a real fire (although with careful examination the "flames" are not as realistic). The cabinet is very sturdy and gives a well-built feel. The cream color is nice and the finish is durable.
Note that the stove can use a lot of electricity - 15 amps when the fire, air filter, and heater are all working. If you have it plugged into a 15 amp circuit any additional load (a lamp, tv, etc.) on the circuit will trip the circuit breaker. Ideally it should have a dedicated circuit for its exclusive use.

The blower on the other hand did not work at all. When I purchased these items I believed they were going to be brand new products like the item description stated. The blower came in a box that had the return receipt of another customer still inside it. So, someone else returned it because it didn't work and then the company resells it to me as brand new! I have exchanged a couple of e-mails with the company about it but then nothing. They have gone unheard of! I'm now out $100 because this company refused to stand behind their sale. Look around for a different seller.

(More customer reviews)It definitely looks handmade (don't buy if you expect something modern looking). My fireplace is old red brick, so the rustic look all matches. It does the job it was intended to do on my wood insert.
As for safety... remember stoves / inserts get VERY HOT. 500-600 degrees for a good burn. Don't put water in an empty, hot kettle... there may be a steam explosion.
Only add hot water to a kettle to top off a kettle with hot water in it.
Don't put cold water in a kettle and put it on top of the hot stove / insert, the temperature difference may cause the cast iron stove to split.

(More customer reviews)we used it for our wood stove. yes, it comes with 6 logs but they ask you to use at least 2 logs per fire. yes, it comes with 4 free fire starters, but i had to use 2 for the first fire with 2 logs and used the last 2 for the 2nd fire with 2 logs. the second fire died prematurely. i had to maintain the fire with additional things to burn (used paper towels, cardboard) to keep the fire alive. definitely not repurchasing this product. i now have two half burned logs in the wood stove and 2 brand new logs in the box that will have to supplement the next set of logs we purchase, since i ran out of fire starters.

I used a Flip Video Mino Series Camcorder, 60 Minutes (Black) to record both my PC and the Entree Air fan, so you can hear for yourself the noise levels. My wife says it's a calming noise, and I just care that the rest of the house is warm.
The only annoying thing I found was that the cord comes out the bottom. So if you are at the heat source, looking towards a door, and the fan is on the right side, it'll stick out weird.

It was for a gift, so I was glad to see that it came very secure, and with all of its parts. (Nothing was broken, everything was there.) I have been looking for this particular item for a very long time...my best friend saw it at a local restraunt where they put sterno gel in it and cooked marshmallows over it, making s'mores. Super cute...needless to say, she was thrilled with her birthday present ;-). I wish it would have come sooner (I had to give it to her late). Other than that, very pleased with my purchase!!! it covers the top of my stove exactly. the wood is beautiful and warm.
i got mine late november early december, and i use if everyday at least once, and it still looks new. it is easy to clean, even if i left cut tomatoe and avocado or something, the stains wipe right off.
p.s. i only use mine to cut fruit and veggies....we are vegetarian.

(More customer reviews)I bought this to move warm air from our LR to the rest of the when the woodstove is going. It gets too hot in the room and this does help. It's not the perfect solution, but it was cheaper than putting another doorway in just yet. It does require cutting a hole in the wall (obviously) so if you're not handy, keep that in mind. It's much quieter than the doorway fan we have. I'd recommend it.
